Hello,
I have an Atlassian account with my job's mail. In my current assignment I use Bitbucket and Jira.
After I logged out yesterday, when I try to log in to Bitbucket I get instead a sign up prompt. I tried the same directly in Atlassian and I have the same issue.
So, I signed up with my job's e-mail again, just in case, but it created a completely new account and so I have no access to either Bitbucket or Jira that I had until now (and I need them for my everyday work).
Extra information:
I have set up a 2 factor authentication for both atlassian and bitbucket account were I have access.
I am not 100% sure which is my last password.
I have tried the recovery, but I have not received any mail.
I had changed my e-mail to a personal mail for a brief period because I had an issue to set up the mfa because I was not receiving the confirmation mail, but I changed it back and I have the mails that prove it.
Does anyone have an idea of what happened or at least how should I proceed to regain access to my original account?
