How can I set up two-step verification if I've signed in with my Microsoft account and I don't have an account password?

Follow-up question if I may...

If 2FA should be configured on the Identity Provider side, why do I keep getting asked to enter in a code that's sent to me by email. It's a pain in the ass and happens every time I log in.

When you login with a third-party provider the 2FA should be configured on the Identity Provider side.
