I receive the Weekly Roundup email however, I have found that a I get time-sensitive Articles within the Discussion Group's too late.
For example, This weeks Roundup included an Article from the Data Center discussion group for a webinar. The article was posted March 24, the webnair was scheduled for March 26 (awfully short notice), and the Roundup was delivered March 30th.
Is there a way to set notifications for specific Discussion Groups? If I set a notification based on a keyword search, along with articles, I get all questions and replies as well. This very quickly spams my inbox.
Hi @Jeanne Howe ,
Please go to the settings wheel on the top right > Manage settings > Notifications > Settings.
There you can set "New activity in collections categories I'm watching" to "Immediately". Can you give this a try and see if this is better? Please let me know if you are still receiving delayed notifications after changing this setting.
@Jeanne Howe hmmm interesting observation and great question!
I know that I am watching several groups here via Email and/or RSS feeds. After digging a little more, looks like the watching ability is only available for product groups and not other community discussion groups.
I'm curious if this is easy to enable for those other kinds of groups and if the staff that run the Community stuff have any insight.

Thank you Harrison.
I am "watching" the Discussion Groups I am in, but that does not seem to provide any email or RSS feed notification, so I am unsure what functionality is behind the "Watch" option.

Seems like the "Watch" just gives us that weekly roundup, but I agree that there should be more options for folks to opt-in for more if they want to, like you can with the product groups!
