Swap a license key between two instances?

Hello everyone.
The case is as follows, we are in the process of merging two companies, both use jira (server).
Company A has 500 software licenses and 500 service desk licenses,
Company B has 2000 software licenses and 100 servicedesk licenses.
We would like to transfer software licenses between companies so that A has 500 sd and 2000 sw, B 100 sd and 500 sw.
Will replacing the license keys be sufficient in this case?
It seems to me that I once saw a similar problem, but I am not able to find it now, unfortunately the support is not able to help due to the expiration of the license.
