Other Atlassian tools allow you to force usernames to lowercase - but not Bamboo! At least, not in the UI, nor is there a switch in the atlassian-users.xml that I can find documented.
As I'm authenticating against LDAP I cannot modify the usernames manually. Some usernames are uppercase, but all our auth systems are case-insensitive, including the other Atlassian tools, so people log-in with lowercase usernames. Bamboo is the exception.
Is there asecret way to lowercase usernames imported from LDAP in Bamboo, and what is that procedure?
Update - Same issue in Jira too.
Did you get this fixed? I'm having issues in Jira. I tried to configure inertal directory with LDAP and I have all user names in seen in upper case
