Can I require one PR approver each from two different groups to merge?

What I want to do is have two required groups as approvers for a PR, but I want to have one person from each group approve.

For example, for any PR I want one person from team-A-approvers and one person from team-B-approvers to approve my PR before I can merge it.

The current behavior is if I setup team-A-approvers and team-B-approvers as required groups then I can have 2 people from team A (or team B) approve and I can merge. I do not want this.

This would benefit a code base that has two separate teams working on it.

Hey @zacharymehl, I'm afraid there's no direct setting to do this. You could use the merge checks functionality and roll out your own merge check plugin. You can find more info on how to do that here
