We are currently setting up Jira and in the future (date TBD) will be using Bitbucket.  I want to make sure I set up my projects so they will work with the Bitbucket integration.

We have a single repository that contains multiple software offerings.  For example, if we are Atlassian then Jira, Confluence, Fisheye etc. are all in one repo.  Can I have Jira projects for each software offering and link them to a single Bitbucket repo?  Going back to my example, can I have a Jira-project for Confluence, Fisheye, Jira, and have them all link back to my Atlassian Bitbucket repo?

Thank you,

Hi Nathan,

You will be able to link your Bitbucket issues to any software project in JIRA. So, it shouldn't be a problem having multiple JIRA projects if that is how they need to be setup.

The real linking occurs in the commit messages, when a specific issue is referenced by the developers.

Best,

Lauren
