Discussion: 2FA possibilities for private BitBucket server

Hi community,

We have some BitBucket server which is running on premise. Now we want to integrate 2FA but there seems not to exist a default option or free official plugin to enable this.

We checked the some third party plugins:

• CAC/PIV Authenticator for Atlassian plugin
• 2FA Secure Login plugin (in combination with Jira)
• Two Factor Authentication Plugin of Wittified.

Which solution are you using or another one? What can you recommend. Pro's/contra's of these or other plugins.

Hi @Den C you may install our 2FA for Bitbucket Server plugin: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1220942/2fa-for-bitbucket-u2f-totp?hosting=server&tab=overview which will allow you to use TOTP or U2F as a second factor.
