How do we restrict the Smart Commits to certain type of JIRA issues?

We have different issue types in JIRA, but only want to Smart Commit to only certain types fro examples Stories. Is there a way to achieve this?

Hi Srilatha! That’s not possible to achieve out of the box, but you could write your own hook to check for the issue type and reject those commits who don’t refer to Stories. I'd recommend you visit our Developer resources for more help.
