I've been a Bitbucket user for the past 10 years. I usually stored some very important academic and professional projects in my account, as a redundancy for github.

Today I tried to loggin in my main account and for my surprise ALL MY REPOS vanished. I don't undestand where they go, but this is a totally nightmare and terrible way to deal with user most value data, our repos. I would like to ask for Atlassian to deal with that, I never losed a single bit of data in Github for the past 10 years, and I would like to have the same level of quality, we pay for this level of service, and WE PAY VERY WELL. If isn't possible to recover I would like to know WHY, this kind of problem is a totally disrespect with the end user.

I'm very pised off because of this, and to clarify:

- I already searched everywhere

- I'm using the correct accounts

- I know what I'm doing, I'm not a novice programmer

I'll wait for a proper help from Atlassian to solve this, I really hope not to involve my lawyer in this kind of stupid problem.

Thanks.

I’m facing a similar situation, and I’m really frustrated by the confusion. You haven’t given me any options to restore my repositories or even informed me if it’s impossible. How can this happen? Despite everything, I’m still a fan. Could you provide me with a feedback address, as you did previously with my ticket BBS-106549? Let me know if you'd like further adjustments!

Hi @Alexey Yaremchuk

If you're referring to the same repositories that you mentioned in the support ticket you linked, you'll need to login using your email address with the "i.ua" domain to gain access to these.

If these are not the repositories - could you please check the path for the repository using the following command - this will reveal the workspaceID/repository slug:

git remote -vvv

Once you have this, can you navigate to the following URL while logged in and see if you notice that workspaceID present in the list?

https://bitbucket.org/account/workspaces/

If not, you've likely logged in using an email address that is not tied to the workspace in question. I'd suggest checking your git config to see which email address is registered in your configuration (under user.email) and try to login to Bitbucket using this email address instead:

git config --list

Please let me know if you still have issues finding these.

Cheers!

Hi @Ben  Now is situation more stable,

I added a new user account to these repositories. However, I am still concerned because the workspace is outdated and I was unable to migrate or import it from the "Alex Yar" workspace to the newer EXID. Is it possible to prepare a plan regarding the current preparation for the less issues in our future development, thanks.

Also, please confirm if this works with my new Gmail address, as the i.ua mailbox is not often available. I look forward to your advice!

G'day, @Fellipe Souto Sampaio

Welcome to the community!

You might have lost access to the repository for several reasons, but I can assure you that we don't delete them. I'll do my best to assist you.

To start, could you please provide the name of the missing workspace?

Additionally, have you tried accessing your workspace using this link? Once there, select the workspace you can access and click on the "Repositories" tab at the top to see if all the repositories are listed.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Syahrul
