Newbie here. How does my team see the repository?

I just set up an account and created a repository.  I am able to add, commit, push, etc.  I created the repository (there will be only one) and added some files to it.

Now I want to create the team.  I did, and added the email of a person to be a team member.  

But how do I link up the team with the repository I created first?  How do they gain access to the files I uploaded?

Hi Robert,

A team in Bitbucket Cloud is like a different type of account, it offers you more fine-grained user management and also the ability to add extra administrators.

What you could do here is:

• Transfer the repository from your individual account to the team account
• Then, go to your team's Settings via this link (replace 'team_username' in that link with the username of your own team):
  https://bitbucket.org/account/user/team_username/
• In that page, select 'User Groups'
  You can create there 'User Groups', set permissions for those users groups and add users to them
