Exporting Bitbucket & Jira Link

I am redesigning our Jira architecture (currently 32 projects and aggregating to 5) however is there a way to easily do this? I have my jira project exported but I have bitbucket links to issues that are created. Or do I just have to create each item from scratch again? And if so is there a test environment I can do this before putting it live?

Hello Farbod and welcome to the Community!

Although you are staying within Jira, I would treat your undertaking as a migration since you will be shifting a massive amount of data around. We have documents which covers migrations along with the multi-step process to ensure you have a very successful migration. For this example, I would highly suggest you review the documentation (main reason is it will be more update-to-date then this post). Here are the resources which cover migrating your data and ensuring your Jira projects stay linked to your Bitbucket instance.

Within the above documents, there are additional resources which will help to cover your migration process.

Thanks @Stephen Sifers for responding. I'll have a look at the documentation, hopefully it provides more insight how to do this rather than recreating each ticket one by one.
