How can I make sure I'm following all the issues of a repo?

Kouichi C_ Nakamura June 26, 2018

There used to be an eye icon on Overview page of a repo, and you can tick All Issues to make sure that you follow all the updates of Issue Tracker.

However, looks like the Overview page is gone. So did the eye icon.

Now, how can I make sure I'm following all the issues of a repo?

Hi Kouichi! You can still watch the repository from the 'Source' section of the repository, by clicking on the ellipsis menu on the right ( . . . ) and Watch repository. Once you're watching the repo you'll be notified anytime someone creates a new issue or updates an existing one.

Let us know if you can find that option!

Best regards

Thanks. Because it doesn't really mention 'issues', I wasn't sure what it actually does.

Does watch repository mean you get all the notifications about all the changes? Can you activate Watch repository and still ignore specific issues? In other words, does Watch repository overwrite the 'watch or unwatch' selection for each issue?

Hi Kouichi, you can see what gets watched at Notifications for objects you watchWhen you watch the repository, you'll see new comments added to an issue, updates, and transitions through the workflow.

Regarding your last question, if you're currently watching only some issues and click on 'Watch repository', it will overwrite your previous selection and watch everything. However, after that, you can go to the individual issues and unwatch those if you're not interested in them.

Hope this clarifies!

Cheers,

Ana
