Hello,

I'm researching both the flat file stash log format from the link listed below and was wondering if there is also an API-based logging interface. If so, could somebody please point me to that information?

https://confluence.atlassian.com/stashkb/how-to-read-the-stash-log-formats-317951177.html

Thanks,

Brit

Hi @Brit Davis,

If you are using a recent version of Bitbucket Server (higher than 4), I would recommend using the following page:

How to read the Bitbucket Server Log Formats

This is the page that we are actively updating according to the new releases and related changes.

The How to read the Stash Log Formats refers to the earlier versions of the product, which is known as Stash. This page is not updated anymore and should only be used if you are still using Stash.

Regarding a REST API, there is one for retrieving the audit events related to a project and a repository within a project. Here is the link to the latest version of the documentation:

Bitbucket Server - Audit

And this is the link to the main page of the REST API documentation:

Bitbucket - REST APIs

Cheers,

Caterina - Atlassian
