Hello!
Am using Bit Bucket Evaluation version.
Now looking for option to update evaluation license automatically via UPM or curl?
Please support me.
Hi Francis,
I've had a look at your account and see that the evaluation license has been extended for quite some time already. At this point I would suggest getting a Starter License if you have 10 users or less. This is a very reasonable $10 which we donate to charity and entitles you to a year of software maintenance.
There are other paid licenses at your commercial entity which you may be able to use as well. I'm not able to provide you with the names of the contacts on the licenses but if you ask around at work, you'll probably find out how to get access.
Per our licensing agreement, we provide a rather lengthy 90 day evaluation period. As Nic mentioned, evaluation licenses are meant to determine if you will use the product - not for using the software in perpetuity. If you need your own dedicated Bitbucket Server, the Starter license really is a good way forward.
Cheers,
Daniel
What do you mean "automatic licence update"? If you have an evaluation licence, it will expire, and you can't get a new one without engaging with Atlassian to get it. If you're replacing it with a paid licence, you need to go through the payment routine, then paste the licence in,

Using Evaluation copy bit bucket server and need to visit atlassian.com to renewing Evaluation license. So try to do this step automatically when license expire. I read in some blog.. UPM can help on my request but how-to steps not available.
So looking for support to do this UPM or any other option available….

You should not be renewing evaluation licences, you should be paying for the software you are using (and you can't do it more than a couple of times even when you do extend a trial).
