Set JIRA issue resolution when auto transitioning issues from Bit Bucket

We are using the auto-transition feature in Bit Bucket - JIRA integration.

When a pull request is merged the resolution of the JIRA issue is not set to 'Resolved'. Is there any way to configure the resolution to 'Resolved' when the Pull Request is merged.

You can add a post-function to set "Resolution" and that should do the work.

How triggers relate to other workflow operations/constraints

When a transition is triggered automatically, it ignores any conditions, validators or permissions configured on the transition.

However, post functions are still executed. You need to be careful that if your post function requires a user, that your transition will not be executed by an anonymous user (see user mapping sectionabove).
