I'm a 'content guy'. The bulk editing features are welcome. But we are on standard.

We built our own bulk content management tools. The app is a suite of bulk editing tools called Space Content Manager.

I agree with so many comments that permission control is crucial for a well run instance. The app includes an easy way to enable/disable any feature by space, group or user.
