Anonymous Access tab not showing on Confluence Global Permissions

AutoLMS May 11, 2021

Please can someone help

I am a site admin on confluence, and I want to make the space I'm working on public.

When I navigate to the Global Permissions area, I don't have an 'Anonymous Access' tab to set this up.

It doesn't appear for the ORG & Site Admin either!

Is this a bug, or am I missing something?  Confluence is useless for the purpose I need without this option.

Thanks

Welcome to the community!

There are two times this can happen:

  • If you are on the free version of Confluence Cloud (although last time I looked at a free one, the tab was there, but greyed out with a note that it's not configurable on the free version)
  • If you have enabled "share page to non-users" - this is in general config -> advanced and is mutually exclusive - you can share pages or have anonymous access, not both

Hi @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- thank you for such a quick reply!

I can't find the 'share page to non-users' unfortunately :(

I have the same problem.

Also in the test trial.  I can not see / configure 'Anonymous Access'
