We have upgraded confluence to 5.5.2 and the JIRA we are using is 6.0.8. I want to use the applink to connect between confluence and JIRA. I have been able to create a link from JIRA to confluence but not the other way. When I try to create a link from confluence to JIRA I get the following pop up message:
I saw the following compatibility matrix: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/APPLINKS/Application+Links+Version+Matrix
How can I proceed with this? is there any patch?
Btw both the applications are running in different servers.
Thanks
Hi Hemanth, the only way to stop seeing this message is upgrating JIRA to a newer version, it's not possible to upgrade just the application link plugin.
However, this should not prevent you from creating the application link between the current versions of your applications.
You can create the application link from JIRA side ("Click here to transfer to 'Central JIRA' to create the link") and this should create the reciprocal link in Confluence side.
Cheers
@Tiago.. I followed your instructions and it worked out fine so far. Thanks
