Approval of specific person on Confluence page

Hi,

With all the knowledge here, I hope someone can help me. At our company we use Confluence pages to inform people outside our department. A sort of configuration document. The person who requests this, should send the approval back. Until now we export the page, send it by mail, approval comes by mail and we attach the mail to the space. 

Does someone know if there's an easier way to get approvals? The space is visible to multiple people, also people who don't need to approve. Ideally, the approval should be restricted to the person we choose.

Using native functionality in confulence this is not possible. You can explore a third party plugin like Comala Document Management from Atlassian Marketplace for your use case.

I will have a look at the plugin, but our organisation isn't very keen on plugins. :)

As Kishan stated this is not possible with native functionality in Confluence, fortunately the Atlassian Marketplace has many great add-ons that enable you to extend the capability of the platform to suit your needs.
