In confluence there is a "product requirements" template that represents an Epic in JIRA. Right now when you create a new space, it has a product requirements section that is added to each space and then it uses a label of "requirements" to pull any product requirements page in to a page properties report. The issue I am having right now is that we create product pages all within the same space. I know I can add a button to create these on a new product page and have that as part of the template, but what I need to be able to do is give it a unique label when a new page has been created. Is there a way within a template to either have a label created based on the parent page name? What I am thinking of is that I would have a create from template button that creates a custom product requirements page that has a label on the product requirements pages that is auto generated based on the parent page name. This would also be listed in the page properties page so that it would automatically pick up the child pages under it.
Another option is whether or not there would just be a way to configure the page properties report within this template to only look for the label of requirements if it is a child of that page. That would get rid of the need to do the above item with the label.
Another possible idea is if I can have a page properties ID auto-generated with creating a new page from a template. Then when I create sub-pages using the product requirements page that it has a way to only look up the parent ID.
