I know we can create guest users in Confluence but we want to know if there is a way after they create their account to give them future access to a page that they are added to that only requires them to use a link and not a username and password?   Is this possible in Jira as well?

Hi @Test Customer

The question seems a bit unclear.
Are you asking whether users can access a Confluence space or page using just a link, without needing to log in with a username and password?

If so, this can be achieved by enabling Public links for the required space in the global permissions. Once enabled, you can share the public link of the required page with users, and they’ll be able to view the page without authentication.

Please note:
This approach may introduce security risks, as anyone with the link will be able to access the content, even if it wasn’t specifically shared with them.

Hope this helps!

I'll just add to @Rajat Pratap Singh 's answer that Public links work page by page, whereas guest users are added to a space. If you only need to share a small number of specific pages, Public links are a good option. If you want to share many pages and make sure any new content is easily available, guest access is the way to go (but yes they will be required to sign in).
