Configure "subscribe to daily updates" feature

Is it possible to configurate the "Subscribe to daily updates"?
Because i receive a complete overview in that daily email about every space or site which i have a read permission. But i only need a daily overview of selected spaces and sites. It is nonsensical to get an info about every change.
Is there a way to configure this?
The interesting thing is that there are only a few sites in my "watches" section. And i stopped watching some of them to test the "daily subscribe feature". So i conclude that this isnt the space where you can configure it.
In my opinion, this feature doesn't make sense if I can't restrict the summary.
