I have invited external people (with a domain that isn't owned by my organization) to a confluence space. They are in the confluence-guests group and have acces to one single space. Before my organization has claimed its own domain, these guests were in the confluence-users group, so they had access to all spaces. Once our organization has claimed it's domain, these users were removed from the users group and granted access to one single space.
However, I now periodically get informed by e-mail that "Person XY has joined Confluence". After receipt of this message, person XY, who is supposed to be a guest, is again a member of the confluence-users group. So then I have to remove this person from the users-group manually again. This already happened several times.
How can these people always re-join the users group?
Hello @Ilian Jäger
Does your Organization allow users to invite other users to your Confluence product? Do such invitations require administrator approval, or are they automatically approved?
You can find that information at https://admin.atlassian.com under Products > User Access, then check the User Invites tab.
