Confluence Macro Jira Issues gets error

We are trying to setup Confluence Dashboard/Space with the JIRA ISSUES macro and get an error.

Error on line 128.The element type link must be terminated by the matching end tag "<link>".

<br/> class java.io.IOException

What causes this?

I tried the above. Second link gets 404 error.

I now get message : Jira server unable to process search. If i click the title Jira Issues it take me to Jira with the correct display. Can someone paste a working query for Jira Issues Macro 4.3.3 Confluence and 5.2.4 Jira
