We have configured application links between confluence and jira instances (both standalone, https, proxy, etc)
When setting up confluence to show jira issues, it only works when selecting anonymous in the macro options and setting the corresponding jira project to allow anonymous browsing.
Is it possible to set it up without anon browsing?
Have you setup OAuth authentication under Application Links?
Weird... i tried it just now, and OAuth didn't change much.
First when I try to setup the jira issues macro without ticking "anonymous" it gives me error:
"bad remote ip..." (with the public ip??)
Then when I tick the anonymous in the macro options, I get erro:
"the jira server was not able to process the search. /.../ you may not have permission to view one of these issues."
Then I allow anyone to browse issues under the project in jira, it works. Once it works I can remove this in the jira project and it seems to keep working. ? (for now at least)
