Some of my users in Germany are reporting a problem with the Staffing Counts number fields on the Confluence project dashboard.
Steps
- enter values into Staffing Counts, eg. 2 and 4
- edit the project and change other fields, the values are shown as 2.0 and 4.0 (but aren't changed) and saved
- the values are now 20 and 40
- the next time the project is edited and saved, the values become 200 and 400, then 2000 and 4000, etc.
The assumption is that the number formats are causing a problem. In German number formats, the comma and decimal are reversed So 1,000.5 is displayed for them as 1.000,5 Because of this when the field resets to showing as 2.0, this could confuse things.
Has anyone seen a similar issue before? Is there a bug ticket?
