Creating Jira Issues from Confluence Requirements page

Hi - i used the Confluence Requirements page to create a set of Jira Story's. Problem is that it didn't copy over any formatting for the Story text and cut it off entirely after like a twitter post worth of characters. 

I don't understand how they advertise this as a feature if it has such ridiculous limitations. 

Is there any fix to this?

Yes, there is a limitation of characters number ...
