Does importing a JIRA Cloud backup affect a related Confluence Cloud instance?

My company is in the process of consolidating multiple JIRA Cloud instances into one, and we intend to use Confluence alongside it.

I know that importing a backup file into a JIRA Cloud instance deletes everything that's currently there and replaces it with the backup.

Does that process affect the contents or user access to a Confluence setup on the same account?

We'd like to start using Confluence in the new account in advance of the JIRA Cloud merge, but I want to make sure we don't cause problems with the content there.

Yes, a full import overwrites the system you are importing into.  But it does not affect any other system.
