Exclude certain pages from Confluence knowledge base from Jira Service Desk cloud

I have Jira service desk (JSD) project tied to confluence knowledge base.  The page such as overview or other holding/switchboard pages are shown in Jira service desk Help Center to requester.  The holding page has children pages that is how-to articles I'd like them to show on Help Center.  I do not see much points to show these holding pages. 

Is there a way to hide certain pages from JSD Help Center?

If you add restrictions to pages, they'll disappear from the helpdesk

It would not work because all children pages inherit the page restriction.  I want all children page has no view restriction.  There is a red open lock on the upper right corner of the page.  I do not know a way to break page viewing restriction inheritance
