One of my users made me aware of an issue: If you set your site homepage to something other than the dashboard, there's no way to get to the dashboard, since the icon that normally goes there goes to whatever you have for your site homepage.
I've never noticed this before (I've never reset my personal site home page), and I'm having trouble thinking of a way of giving users access to the dashboard when they've done this. (We've got some important links on the dashboard.)
Has anyone dealt with this problem? What have you done to address it?
Thanks, Davin, I think that is a good solution.

Hi Jonathan,
I believe you are a Theme Press User but if your problem is not related to your Theme Press Space or site, please ignore this comment.
We found that Confluence's dashboard is typically not a place where you want to direct non-technical Users, which is why we made it hard for Users to get there. We prefer to use highly designed landing pages as site homepages, however there are a few ways to get to the dashboard:
I hope this helps!
Cheers,
Maggie

Thanks, Maggie. We're only using Theme Press in a couple of spaces. Appreciate the ideas, though.

Hi Jonathan,
I tested different home pages on my Confluence and I was able to set dashboard back.
Please refer to Configuring the Site Home Page in order to see how to do that.
Thanks and regards,
Paula Silveira

Yes, I know you can set the dashboard back. I was thinking of looking for a way to put a link to the dashboard somewhere so that users can get to it without resetting their home page.
