Hello,
We utilize confluence as a project managing tool to oversee different respective Jiras that we call 'weekly summaries'. In those ticket each project manager updates the ticket each week with a new comment to describe the project. In the table that I have built, I utilize the "Last Comment" display option to show the last comment on the tickets. Recently something has happened where this last comment is not pulling back the formatting that people use within their tickets like it was previously.
Normally there is spacing and other formatting that the project managers use in their comments but that is not being pulled back now when being displayed in the ticket.
So 2 questions on this:
1) Is there a fix that can be implemented into the display options section that will return the formatting?
2) Are there any other suggestions on managing these weekly update Jira tickets in a different manner? Open to suggestions but would like to at least have a fix here first in the meantime before trying to revamp the process.
Thank you ahead of time
Hi @Greg Gibble ,
I assume that "Last comment" is a custom text field and that automation must update that field with the comment that triggered the rule? Just a guess here. If so then either the field rendering was changed (look at the settings - issues - custom fields) or maybe the automation rule has been altered in some way. Can you check all of this?
@Jack Brickey I see the field in the list of items, how can I check if it is a custom field and how to edit its properties? This is all i see below.
