How do I move an installation of Confluence?

I would like to move an instance of Confluence to another machine. Do I need a license specific to that new machine, and if so, how do I generate it?

Licensing is handled through your my.atlassian.com account. You may want to generate a developer license so that you can temporarily run both instances.
