How should we prepare our service accounts for migration to SSO?

We are migrating to SSO so that users will use our IDP to SSO onto Jira and Confluence.  

We've been told that users on our domain (i.e. with email addresses @ourcompany.com) will be redirected to our IDP.

I want to ensure service accounts we use for automation are NOT impacted by SSO even through they are associated with our domain (e.g. serviceaccount@ourcompany.com). The accounts are set up to use API tokens to authenticate.

Is any action required or will these accounts continue to operate as they do today?
