We are working closely with our client on a project in which we will be working on IBM software and developing some features. The client has asked for access to the project's Jira site to coordinate in adding backlog, sprint planning, assigning to team members, etc. We have the cloud hosted Jira. Please advise how can we provide access to our customers?

You need to connect with your JIra Admin .They can provide access to the users for your instance .
Like in my case we need to drop mail to JIra admin or raise request with all proper justification as it envolve licence cost .
Once user get access ,provide suitable role for the event ( manage sprint etc )mentioned above in permission scheme.
