Your Confluence Free site can be deactivated after 120 days of inactivity. Inactivity is defined as not logging in and viewing any page or content within your Confluence site.

If your Confluence Cloud Free site is deactivated due to inactivity, the data is retained for 60 days following the deactivation date.

The sooner you contact Atlassian support, the higher your chances of recovery if it's still within the 60-day data retention window.

Make sure to log in and view some content in your free Confluence space at least once every 120 days to keep the inactivity counter from resetting and your space from being deactivated.
