I'm leading an effort in my organization which is transfering items to Confluence and JIRA. (JIRA for task tracking, development, etc and Confluence for documentation creation). We have many projects going on and a lot of overlapping features and documents. We have been using labels to help consolidate the features in JIRA to a list of EPICS for each project. This has been a resounding success.
The next phase is to be able to query Confluence to get the documents that are generated for each of the EPICs (linked via the JIRA macro). We would like to be able to automatically inherit the labels from the JIRA issue referenced and populate them into the Confluence list. Right now we are performing manual copies and that is fraught for failure.
Any thoughts?
