Is publishing product SEN number safe?

We plan to purchase apps for JIRA and Confluence throug public procurement, because we are public institution. In order for sellers to get quote from Atlassian and to offer right licence for our products, do they need to know the product SEN number?  And is it safe to publish the SEN number in public procurement where all possible companies can see it?

@Toomas Adson ,

Hope you are having a great day. Those are great questions. Let me help try and answer those for you.

Atlassian Partners do need the SEN of your org to gain a proper quote. They also need the permission of the technical contact(typically and ORG admin) in writing to get those quotes.

I would caution against publishing those SEN publicly and only share those with the partners that you are getting quotes from.

Here is an article about the from a server data center side but tells you how to get to the my.atlassian.com to check license and technical contact. SEN

If this helps you please mark it as answered and if you need more assistance please reply to this thread.

I hope you have a wonderful Friday.

Respectfully,

Aaron
