JAVA SE upgrade on existing standalone installation

Hi,

We are currently running JIRA/Confluence box with the following java version:

# java -version

java version 1.6.0_26

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_26-b03)

Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.1-b02, mixed mode)

We found a few of CVEs published (CVE-2012-5083, CVE-2012-5084 and others) that affect version we have. What will be the correct way to update JAVA SE bundled with your products to unaffected version?

Hi Alexander

After upgrading JAVA, try to change the JIRA starup settings. Perhaps the following links could be useful:
