Context:
We're rolling out Confluence server & we have an existing Jira cloud instance.
We also have a confluence cloud instance (soon to be shut down)
Issue:
In our jira projects we're presented the option to
When we click the button below (Connect a space)
The pop-up window displays a list of Confluence spaces from our existing confluence cloud instance but not our new confluence server.
We have application links in place and are able to create jira items from confluence server using the build in in functionality.
Is this not possible or am I just missing something?
Hello Rodney,
Welcome to Atlassian Community. It's nice to have you.
In this case, it's difficult to solve without being able to see the server logs, but I see that you were able to raise a support ticket. That will be really helpful for us to solve the issue.
Can you please follow-up here once the issue is resolved and let us know what it was? it will help other users in the future, should they have the same issue.
Regards,
Shannon
Short answer: This functionality (Jira Pages/connect a space) doesn't exist between Jira cloud & Confluence server.
It is only possible between Jira cloud & Confluence cloud.
