Jira Issue/Filter macro

Klaus July 31, 2018

I'm running Confluence version 5.10. When I add the Jira Issue/Filter macro in and set my JQL string. I set my display to show "Story" Issue type, Summary, Assignee and Epic link.

For some reason, randomly it displays epic links to those epics that have no affiliation or assigned to an epic. Is this a known bug?

I tried this on our dev environment to 6.9 and it works as expected.

Hi Klaus,

There have been some known issues with Epics and Jira Issue macros. This one is the closest I found to what you are describing: Epic Name/Link column on JIRA issues macro displaying wrong Epic Name, which was fixed in Confluence 6.2.1

It sounds like you established that what you are experiencing was fixed in time for Confluence 6.9.

Since your dev environment is Confluence 6.9, I suspect you are planning an upgrade, which is good because Confluence 5.10 has reached end of life status.  Please use this guide when you get ready: Upgrading Confluence

Confluence 6 is a major upgrade

Be sure to read the Confluence 6.0 Upgrade Notes, take a full backup, and test your upgrade in a non-production environment before upgrading your production site.

Thanks,

Ann
