Jira issues macro in confluence 6.5.2 has wrong text and url link in Epic Link column

After updating confluence from 6.4.0 to 6.5.2 the jira issues macro has changed the Epic Link to user story, both the description and link url.

Previously macro showed epic's name and direct link to epic itself.

If we click and follow the Epic Link in macro, it goes to some user story under the epic. The user story has correct epic link and to go to the epic, we need to click it again.

Is there a workaround or option to change this, to show correct epic name and link in macro column?

Looks like this bug will be finally fixed in 7.15, 7.16 of Confluence.  Link: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-43561
