Jira within Confluence

I try to integrate the "JIRA Issues Macro" with a due date. As soon as I add due, I get the following error:

Unable to generate JSON Output<br/>class java.io.IOException

key;summary;assignee;due

Whats wrong ?

I changed my query to only included issues with a duedate. No change in behavior...
