We have to move our Confluence instances to a Data Center license in the near future. Optimally, we would like to have 2 or 3 different instances.
Is it possible to have one central management license server, and different instances that aggregate the cals to this mgmt. server, or do we need 1 data center license per instance?
Hi @Ivar ,
DataCenter license allows you to have multiple nodes without limit. If you have multiple instances that should remain different you need to have one DC license for each instance.
If you merge all those instances in one DC, you need just one DC license.
Hope this helps,
Fabio
I'm afraid we need different instances with different security level. So multiple DC's then, I guess.
