We've recently migrated from Confluence Cloud to Server (in order to host under our own domain).
I'm now trying to link Service Desk (still hosted on Cloud) to our Confluence Server so that the related articles link through to our new (server) confluence rather than old (cloud) confluence.
I have the link between Jira Cloud and Confluence Server setup (under the Application Links screen I now have two confluences showing), however only the "System Confluence" appears under the "Knowledge base" settings within Jira Service Desk.
Is there some way to get my new Confluence Server to appear here?
Hello Vincent,
I've received your support ticket and gave you an update regarding the issue with this setup but I think it'd be good to also post an update here hopefully this will help anyone that came across this post in the future.
It is due to This recent announcement from Jira Service Desk Cloud that the KB linking now has to be on the same domain thus it will not be able to work with Confluence Server + Jira Service Desk Cloud due to the difference in the domain URL
Hi Vincent,
Are the existing application links from before you did the migration? I would remove them and then start over again by linking Confluence from the Jira Service Desk instance.
Have a look at Link to server apps from Cloud.
Regards,
Shannon

Hi Shannon.
I've followed that guide, however it doesn't explain how to resolve my issue.
The "Server" based Confluence doesn't show up as an option within Jira Service Desk, yet the Confluence Server is shown under the "Application Links".
I've added images here:
