Hello,
We recently changed JIRA from http to https and Application Trust between JIRA and Confluence is broken and JIRA gadgets are no longer appearing in Confluence.
The URLs to our gadgets do not change (except for the http which becomes https).
When we go to general configuration and click on add external gadgets and enter the gadget url in the space provided and click on add..then it says
Invalid gadget URL.
Help appreciated. tia!
I had faced this issue some 3-4 years back.
What I did was as follows;
1) Enable nonproxy port in JIRA and Confluence - add a section in server.xml of both applications.
2) Login to both servers - using the non proxy link , hostname/ip and port.
3) change the base url to these non proxy link temporarily.
4) now create the application link using the non proxy link.
5) change the base url back to original url that you have
6) log out and login back with your original base url and it should work just fine.
