Notification in Confluence about Jira activities like submitting ticket first time

Magdalena SPYRA February 21, 2025

I receive information about client comments but I don't receive about that - ticket is submitted to me first time. Can I have a notification about "request no. 0000 is submitted to you" I dont have a problem with receiving this on e-mail but I`m courious why some notification are visible in Confluence (for example Jira JSU automation and others..)

Hi @Magdalena SPYRA ,

In cloud, notifications are 'propagated' throughout all cloud products and sites. Basically, you'll see notifications whenever you log in to your account.

Now, when talking about:

...ticket is submitted to me first time...

do you mean that someone created a ticket and assigned it to you, or something else? We would just need a bit more info on the process itself and what exactly seems to be an issue when talking about notifications.

There's a bit of a difference between direct and watching notifications + some notifications depend on personal settings and project notification scheme.

Cheers,
Tobi

Yes, exactly - someone created a ticket and is assigned to me.

I don`t see this notification on Confluence but I receive e-mail from jira.

@Magdalena SPYRA have you checked your personal settings? Here you can modify which in-product notifications you're receiving (including the one for when you're assigned to a ticket/item).2025-02-25_16-41-49.png
