Hi everyone,
Currently we are using old version Atlassian suite(jira, confluence, crowd, crucible) in Windows server, now we need to migrate all of them to Ubuntu server, also upgrade to latest version. So do I need to upgrade or change my licensing, does it take any charge?
Thanks you.
Nope, my db will move to another place, what should I do to deal with it?
Do you want to only migrate/upgrade your database or switch to completely another database (for example from MSSQL to MySQL)?

I only want to migrate our db to another server, still using same db is mysql. My scenario is migrate all Atlassian suite from on-premise to aws cloud.

It's the simplest scenario. Please try the steps below on the test instances first:
Hope I didn't miss anything. Feel free to ask more questions if you need.

If your licenses have active software maintenance (access to software updates and technical support), then you can update to the latest versions of JIRA, Confluence, Crowd, and Crucible at no cost. If your license(s) are out of software maintenance, you'll want to renew the software maintenance (or if a Starter license, purchase a new one).

Hi!
You don't need to upgrade your licenses in general when moving your services. The main thing you should deal with is a database migration. If your database stays in place all the rest looks pretty easy.
