I've set an Epic Link field to be Required:
Now, Confluence says that it is not possible to create an issue from Confluence, when I create an issue from Confluence:
Is it possible to add Epic Link field on Create issue dialog of Confluence page?
Or is there other ways to solve this problem?
Hello there!
I tried to replicate the current behaviour by using JSU:
But was unable to. According to our docs, his is the plugin suggested to add required fields to Jira:
How to make fields required in a workflow transition
Following this route, I was unable to replicate this dialog box. Could you clarify if you have followed the steps described here:
How to unlock a lock Jira Software field
To unlock the field and use it as a required field?
Thank you for your reply!
We do not have Jira Suite Utilities so I cannot make field `Required` in Workflow Transition.
Yeah, I've unlocked this field and set this field as required though the link you've provided.
But there is a problem till now.

Hi again!
I could find this suggestion that tackles a similar situation:
Currently, only system fields are supported for issue creation within Confluence. The best approach would be to vote and watch the suggestion.
Voting increases the report visibility with our teams and watching it will keep you up to date with everything posted there!
As a workaround, you could test the third-party add on from //SEIBERT/MEDIA, Issue Manager for Confluence:
Issue Manager for Confluence | Atlassian Marketplace
This might be able to help you out when using the Epic Link as a required field in issue creation.

1. You could look at adding the "Jira" macro to your page.
2. Create an epic in edit mode on that page
3. Then in view mode "create jira issues" by highlighting the text - "link to epic" now appears
