Hey everybody,
i have just checking the policy for maintance renewal. And in the faq section of products, they have the following
*Maintenance renewals commence from the expiration of your active maintenance period, regardless of when the maintenance renewal is purchased. If you intend to renew, we recommend renewing at least 30 days before expiration.
I was wondering what happens if you have a product that have not been under maintenance more than a year.
You have to pay for the year that you have been out of maintenance or you have to buy a totally new licence or something else?
Cheers,
Kostas
Hi Kostas,
Yes, Aggelos is correct. When you are more than a year out of maintenance it is more cost effective to purchase a new license which includes a full 12 months of software maintenance.
If you have a $10 Starter License, and the license is more than a day out of maintenance, we recommend you purchase a new license. This is because the cost of a new Starter License and a renewal for one is the same $10.
Hope this helps.
Jim
Hey Jim,
thanx for your help.

Kostas
